The motifs, one by one

  • Arcs and empty half-rhombus with beads meet in panels of pointed and rounded forms around the body.
  • Eye and eyebrow chain, in three variations, frames the composition with a delicate rhythm.
  • Almonds and eyes chain and almonds chain encircle the lid and borders.
  • Double half-rhombus chain draws a bold zigzag around the neck, drawn with a follower, the bold line.
  • Netted almond, veined rhombus fan, flower with bullets and almond-shaped fan with beads complete the decoration: the pansy itself, distilled into pure line.
